We must now consider perseverance and the vices opposed to it.
Under the head of perseverance there are four points of inquiry:
A1 Whether perseverance is a virtue?
A2 Whether it is a part of fortitude?
A3 Of its relation to constancy;
A4 Whether it needs the help of grace?
