< previous   Prologue   next >

Prologue   A1   A2   A3   A4   A5   A6

We must now consider liberality and the opposite vices, namely, covetousness and prodigality.

Concerning liberality there are six points of inquiry:

A1 Whether liberality is a virtue?

A2 What is its matter?

A3 Of its act;

A4 Whether it pertains thereto to give rather than to take?

A5 Whether liberality is a part of justice?

A6 Of its comparison with other virtues.
